C Band is the name designated for the frequency range of 4-8 GHz. C-band is used for re-broadcast because the lower frequency ranges of C band provides better tv reception under adverse weather conditions than KA or KU band. C band signal can be picked up by Satellite Antenna size ranging from 7.5 ft to 12 ft. the 4DTV receiver is the only C Band Digital Receiver with a decoder moduale for encrypted programming.
