The system puts forward an automatic and precise door opening system based on human movement sensing near the door. Well opening a door in places like hotels, Shopping complexes, and offices can be a tedious task and sometimes requires hiring a person just for the sake of opening door whenever a person arrives.Well this project proposes a system that allows for automatic door opening solution by sensing human presence near it. This project is making an automatic door, which uses ultrasonic
frequency. generated by a ultra sonic module. and here didn't used any
micro controller. but used comparator to compare the voltage from the
ultrasonic receiver after reflecting. The comparator output s taken to
logic gates. and used a servo motor to open the door. ....etc

Abstract:

The project is designed on the DTMF decoding. Our modern telephone and even our mobile phone uses DTMF coding for number dialing. These DTMF codes can be decoded and utilised for useful purposes. The circuit utilizes IC8870 for DTMF decoding. Microcontroller 89C51 reads these codes and takes necessary action. There seems to be two types of automatic door openers used in the commercial world; those which use a pneumatic cylinder and those which use a electromechanical device. The pneumatic operators seem to be used in more large scale operations where a large number (10+) of automatic doors are spread throughout an establishment.
