The interface between different fields is believed to be fertile ground for breakthrough research. I am about to do my final year project about guard against zero-day vulnerabilities by deploying Snort IDS.

My adviser suggests that I have to do something more than installing and configuring Snort, creating honeypot, and testing the network against zero-day attack.
