In this paper, a new complementary gate driver for power metal-oxide semiconductor field-effect transistors and in sulated gate bipolar transistors is presented based on the use of a piezoelectric transformer (PT). If you are using transistors to interface to the outside world you may find FETs simpler, easier and better!The traditional interfacing 'standard component' has always been the transistor.
