Sound operated switch using a simple transistor circuit
The operation is simple. Clap and the lamp turns on. Clap again and it turns off.
The electret microphone picks up the sound of your claps, coughs, and the sound of that book knocked off the table. It produces a small electrical signal which is amplified by the succeeding transistor stage. Two transistors cross connected as a bistable multivibrator change state at each signal. One of these transistors drives a heavier transistor which controls a lamp.

MHI is just a ways of implementing motion detection (and uses silhouettes as the basis of it).

Let suppose that the silhouette of the most recent object has been created. It also uses a timestamp to identify if the current silhouette is recent or not. The older silhouettes have to be compared with the current silhouette in order to achieve movement detection. Hence, earlier silhouettes are also saved in the image, with an earlier timestamp.

The circuit is made up of Operational amplifier LM741 which is employed like a comparator for sensitive voltage, LDR , Preset VR1 is used to give a reference voltage to the pin 3 which is a non-inverting terminal as well as to LDR and R2 is linked with IC1 at inverting pin 2 along with a few additional components.
