Abstract

Speaker identification system is one of the applications of biometric using voice signal. In this paper we have implemented a speaker recognition system using a combination of Mel Frequency Capestral Coefficients (MFCC) & Kekre's Median Codebook Generation Algorithm (KMCG). The MFCC algorithm is used for feature extraction while the KMCG algorithm plays important role in code book generation and feature matching. i m using MFCC for speech feature extraction.
as my system is supposd to be speaker independent so how can i get rid of speaker features. system should apply acess in case password is given which is already in systems library. any speaker can has the acess by giving password ....etc

This paper presents a Bayesian approach for Gaussian mixture model (GMM)-based speaker identification.
