Mecobalamin is used in the treatment of trigeminal neuralgia, megaloplastic anemia, diabetic neuropathy and facial paralysis in Bell s palsy syndrome. A simple, an accurate and economic, precise and reproducible UV Spectrophotometry method has been developed for the estimation of mecobalamin in injection dosage form and validated by ICH guidelines.
