A facile photochemical method was used to synthesize Ag nanoparticle (Ag NP) embedded-ZnO nanorods in this article. The as-synthesized Ag NP embedded-ZnO nanorod samples were characterized systematically by TEM, XPS, DSC, XRD and SEM.
