partial replacement of cement with egg shell powder literature

Abstract

This paper reports the results of experiments evaluating the use of egg shell powder from egg production industry as partial replacement for ordinary Portland cement in cement mortar. The chemical composition of the egg shell powder and com-pressive strength of the cement mortar was determined. The ce-ment mortar of mix proportion 1:3 in which cement is partially replaced with egg shell powder as 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, 30% by weight of cement. The compressive strength wa ....etc

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is Vignesh. I have been studying in B.E (PT) final year. In my studies i choose the project of PARTIAL REPLACEMENT OF FINE AGGREGATE BY USING STEEL SLAGS IN CONCRETE so that i need the related tools and Journal literature for that project. So please help me to successfully finish my project. I hope you will considered my request.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

S.Vignesh.

THE USE OF RECYCLED RUBBER TIRES AS A PARTIAL REPLACEMENT FOR COARSE

1. INTRODUCTION
1.1 Background of the Study

Cement and aggregate, which are the most important constituents used in concrete
production, are the vital materials needed for the construction industry. This inevitably led to
a continuous and increasing demand of natural materials used for their production. Parallel to
the need for the utilization of the natural resources emerges a growing concern for protecting

replacement of cement with red mud and replacement of fine aggregate with quarry dust

ABSTRACT

The Bayer Process for the production of alumina from Bauxite ore is characterized by low energy efficiency and it results in the production of significant amounts of dust-like, high alkalinity bauxite residues known as red mud. Currently red mud is produced almost at equal mass ratio to metallurgical alumina and is disposed into sealed or unsealed artificial impoundments (landfills), leading to important environmental issues. It comprises of oxides ....etc
