I believe I was bitten by a millipede or as I understand they don't actually bite but release a fluid. I have several (some quite large) areas on my arm that look red, are sensitive and seems to have a center that's kinda gooshy or scabby. ....etc

This paper focuses on the field of nano memory storage systems. It in particular discusses about a research project named Millipede under development at IBM labs.
