Abstract :Vastu, the word denotes anything existing, such as house, shelter, building etc. shastra in Sanskrit is an ancient art and science containing certain principles and practices.

Belief in Vaastu is spurious and false. It is committing shirk (Ascribing partner to Allah). There is no evidence of such a subject in Islam. It is the basis of Islam to reject and deny such spurious beliefs. It teaches that there is no power or strength in any object or place. Whatever occurs, it occurs due to the command and program as ordained by Allah. Thereby it is incumbent on every Muslim that he or she abstains from such beliefs or there is every chance of losing their Faith.
