ABSTRACT

This study looks at the relationship between traffic variables and carbon monoxide concentrations inside transit buses in Singapore. Speed, acceleration, road grade, and VSP were measured throughout the route using a GPS device. The data was compared to the carbon monoxide concentration in order to see what correlation could be obtained. Two routes were looked at in this study. Both are common bus routes taken to ....etc

Data Transmission Modes
1.Simplex: 1. In simplex mode the communication can take place only in one direction. The receiver receives the signal from the transmitting device. This mode of flow of information is Unidirectional. Example: Radio, T.V., Pager transmission.
