PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The title itself indicates that the system checks the moisture content in the soil based on which a pumping motor automatically pumps the water into the field. Here, we are using a soil moisture sensor. By using this sensor, we can find whether the soil is wet or dry. If it is dry, then the pumping motor will pump the water. In this system, the main controlling device is a microcontroller. Here, the soil sensor gives the status of the soil to the microcontroller ....etc

The project is intended to provide proper amount of irrigation to agricultural fields by observing the moisture content of soil.
