The stop go traffic condition has become synonymous with driving in our big cities. In such a case will automatics transmission make sense to the Indian customer. Well the Indians haven?t taken to automatics like fish to water. The reason being conventional automatics always consume slightly more fuel than manual transmission and the lack of sophisticated automatics.

CVT-Continuously variable transmission


continuously variable transmission (CVT) is a transmission that can change steplessly through an infinite number of effective gear ratios between maximum and minimum values. This contrasts with other mechanical transmissions that offer a fixed number of gear ratios. The flexibility of a CVT allows the driving shaft to maintain a constant angular velocity over a range of output velocities. This can provide better fuel economy than other transmissions ....etc

Continuosly Reinforced Concrete Pavement as the title suggests this type of pavement is reinforced throughout in longitudinal direction. This type of pavement has no transverse joints unless and until there is end of pavement or the pavement comes in contact with some other pavement or bridge. hello,i dig your web site while searching for polaris gearing calculator about atv,it is for a scrambler 400 1999 full build with heavy mods,
i work and fine tune those thing for 20 years,here is my question:through the years i've tried many,many gearing combo,since the first stock set til now with new smaller tires.
i use the 2001 2x4 tranny for my scrammy,i want to put best power to the rear wheels using the stock clutchs (only parts differents are aftermarket like,weights,springs,helix..)the 01 tranny doesn't have the same gear ratio insid ....etc
