This paper proposes new masonry infill walls using ductile interlocking blocks, and describes their availability for retrofitting existing structures. Although no reinforcement is provided in the proposed infills, they can resist out-of-plane loads by the interlocking mechanism between blocks. CONTINUOUSLY REINFORCED CONCRETE PAVEMENT as the title suggests this type of pavement is reinforced throughout in longitudinal direction. This type of pavement has no transverse joints unless and until there is end of pavement or the pavement comes in contact with some other pavement or bridge. A longitudinal joint exists only if the road is wider than 14 feet. Due to reduction of joints smooth and continuous riding is possible resulting in fuel saving. Segmental pavers have been used for thousands of years. The Romans built roads with them that are still there. But it was not until the mid-1940s that pavers began to be produced out of concrete. It started in the Netherlands where all the roads are made to be flexible because the country is below sea level and the ground shifts, moves and sinks.
