Project Details
The intention of this project is to show how the gearbox housing from the Queen's Mini Baja vehicle's transmission was modeled and optimized using ANSYS to perform FEA. The typical bottom-up modeling approach was used to create the model of the gearbox housing. A simple analysis was first done by changing some of the design variables to see how they affected the integrity of the housing.
