Mobile ad hoc networks are typically characterized by high mobility and frequent page link failures that result in low throughput and high end-to-end delay. To reduce the number of route discoveries due to such broken paths, multipath routing can be utilized so that alternate paths are available. Current approaches to multipath routing make use of pre-computed routes determinedduring route discovery. there,inside ns2/aodv directory,i find files such as aodv.cc,aodv.h,aodv_logs.cc etc.. please expalin me in detail what are these files and how they work together.

Now we know how the mechanism of ns2 works.so let's get started with sleep nodes.
First of all there is 4 functions in ns2 for turning a node to 'off', 'on', 'sleep', 'idle'. The difference between these are not so big.
As you know the 'off' function turns a node to off but it still broadcasts something based on your protocol.
