Stepper motor rotate by applying sequence of pulses to the stepper Motor coils. Speed of the motor is based on the sequence of pulses to the motor. Direction can be change by changing the pulse sequence inversely. Here in this project pulse is getting from PIC Microcontroller. It s a Programmable Peripheral Interface controller. Here keypad, Stepper motor Driver both are interfaced with the PIC Microcontroller. Keypad is used to vary the speed and to change the direction Of the stepper motor.

Sir,

I am a b.tech final year student from Electronics and communication branch. I want to do an Project on controlling a stepper motor(start/stop) with the help of a GSM module(i.e by send a message from the mobile for the motor to start) with the 8051 as the microcontroller. I am thinking of applying this technique in the parking space with a gate, at some random apartment where you have lots of cars. I want to even put a counter initiated so that the 8051 counts how many number of cars are parked in the apartments while entering the gat ....etc

Abstract:
This project focuses on developing an embedded system to control the operation of the stepper motor using micro controller. It consists of two parts; one is transmitter which consists of pc, level converter, microcontroller, RF transmitter. Another one is receiver which consists of RF receiver, microcontroller, stepper motor and stepper motor driver.
