Sir,
I am a b.tech final year student from Electronics and communication branch. I want to do an Project on controlling a stepper motor(start/stop) with the help of a GSM module(i.e by send a message from the mobile for the motor to start) with the 8051 as the microcontroller. I am thinking of applying this technique in the parking space with a gate, at some random apartment where you have lots of cars. I want to even put a counter initiated so that the 8051 counts how many number of cars are parked in the apartments while entering the gat ....etc

Stepper motor rotate by applying sequence of pulses to the stepper Motor coils. Speed of the motor is based on the sequence of pulses to the motor.
