ABSTRACT
A surface micro machined capacitive switch has been designed and fabricated on a glass substrate. The switch is constructed of a thin metallic membrane crossing over an electroplated coplanar wave-guide transmission line. The electrostatic actuation is utilized as the switching mechanism.
