Semi-Solid Metalworking (SSM) incorporates elements of both casting and forging for the manufacture of near-net-shape discrete parts. Applications are fuel rails, suspension arms, engine brackets, steering Knuckles,rear axle components and motor cycle upper fork plates.

I wish mechanical properties and micro structure of Aluminium-Copper and SiC metal matrix composites produced by stir casting technique. In which compositions is 3.5-5 %Copper, 5% SiC and rest aluminium.

Also I commercial series name of aluminium alloy in which 3.5-5% copper is there. ....etc
