This module can transmit and receive 4-bit parallel data with or without 8 address bits using a specific encoder and decoder IC s. The idea to create a type of close proximity radar system came from a student in one of my classes. We went ahead and decided to streamline the idea into the course as one of the projects we'd build. The main goal of this project is to design and develop a short range intelligent digital radio wireless hub. And this hub must be able communicate between adjacent buildings on the campus using digital transmitter and receiver modules(Easy-Radio style). It also must have some interfacing capability like four LEDs for output and four digital inputs, a local USB interface and also mesh interconnection capability.
