-A few residences in the higher elevations of Burlington have experienced very low water pressures, prompting the Bureau to ask the students to investigate possible solutions.

I'm doing a student project on designing a high temperature pressure vessel with required piping and supporting structures, using ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, Section VII.

316L Stainless Steel is to be used for this design.

Design parameters are as follows

Diameter 3 feet
Height 5 feet
Max. Design temperature 900 C
Max. Design pressure 2 bar

Fiber optic differential pressure sensor
A differential pressure sensor system is provided which is an improvement over prior sensor systems. Abstract
Current relationships for determination of the pressure drop with pneumatic conveying of solids in pipes are not of general validity. The theoretical considerations underlying these relationships do not take into account the influence of the rotatory motion of the particles. On the other hand, extremely high rotatory speeds of the particles due to wall collision are observed.
