Abstract

In foam extrusion, material density is the most significant factor affecting the product cost and therefore the profitability of the manufacturing process. A reduction in the density of extruded parts reduces the raw material cost and therefore increases its profitability. On the other hand, a reduction in foam density degrades the mechanical properties and geometrical accuracy of extruded parts. Ultrasound Identification is a Real Time Locating System (RTLS) is used to automatically track and identify the location of objects using simple inexpensive nodes (badges/tags) attached to or embedded in objects and devices which then transmit an ultrasound signal to communicate their location to microphone sensors.Ultrasound-based IPS is considered a better alternative to passive Radio-frequency identification (pRFID) in complex indoor environments (such as hospitals), where radio waves may reflect off of metallic or ceramic object ....etc

A guidance system for helping the blind find the way is described. Means to generate modulated signals of different frequencies is there and also a means to amplify and transmit these signals through conductors along the path of the journey. A cane recieves the signals through oscillating means responsive to each signal. It also comprises an amplifier to amplify the signals so that it can be detacted by many persons carrying such recievers along the path.

In order to prevent thrombogenesis in the artifical heart, a prototype ultrasound thrombolysis system is developed.
Thrombus formation in artificial hearts remains a key risk factor in the death of patients. So, the system is assumed to work continously, dissolving micro thrombi before they can grow.
